Exhibition: "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out" curated by Joseph Ayers and Isaac Aden at Kunsthalle Beacon.
Here are some images of work in the latest KuBe collective exhibition at Kunsthalle Beacon, which is the old high school in my home town of Beacon, New York. KuBe is short for Kunsthalle Beacon. The building is about the size of PS 1 Center of Contemporary Art and hosts a number of artists studios.
The exhibition, located in what was once the library/gym, highlights work by artists in the building including myself and my lovely wife Eleanor White. You can see her fluffing up her sculpture piece in one of the images. More samples of her work can be seen at Eleanorwhitestudio.com and eleanorwhite.blogspot.com.
Kunsthalle Beacon's founder is Ethan Cohen of Ethan Cohen Fine Arts in the city who is planning on transforming this building into an arts destination complete with a cafe, gallery, project spaces, film screenings and performances. It's an amazing building that has a lot of potential so keep an eye out for things to come!
