Colors (Blue/ Red), 2010This is one of three edition of prints made during my residency at Lower Eastside Printshop. It's printed on Decotone solid mirror aluminum laminate and is 20" high x 43.5"wide. The bottoms of Winchester .45 G.A.P. (Glock Automatic Pistol) bullet casings were scanned and used to create a large grid in photoshop which was then turned into film screens. If you click on the image you can see the detail of the bullet casings. The vertical band in the middle was taken from a bandanna pattern.
