Small Abstract (Burgundy) 2008 Shoe laces and wire on wall.

This piece is actually two shoe laces that are intertwined around each other. I like the play between the two form. I'm thinking of doing pieces that use combinations of colors. This series of abstract pieces were inspired by a David Hammons piece that he made back in 1990-91. It's a wall mounted wire sculpture made from coat hangers that hold a bunch of cigarettes.
